I recieved my %26quot;holiday options%26quot; brochure the other week, and it seems as if they have withdrawn their Bristol flights. Now that is a real shame, as we were looking forward to a return trip to Calvi next July. La Merula or le Homme, Appts,were our intended choice. Anyone know of any other company doing Bristol/ Cardiff flights.
Thanks.
A very dissapointed crusteater.

Unfortunately not, currently no flights from either Cardiff or Bristol to Corsica, such a shame.
|||
Well there%26#39;s certainly no Bristol-Calvi flight that I know of.
I am trying to find out at the moment if Thomson%26#39;s Bristol-Bastia flights are still operating in 2009. They appear on the company%26#39;s destination chart but when you key in a 2009 date, Bastia disappears off their booking engine.
It could be that they haven%26#39;t fixed on the 2009 schedule yet. I%26#39;ll let you know if I find out!

Thanks both.
they really were good flight too, departing at around 8 in the morning, returning about 4.oclock. Perhaps something will crop up.
maybe they weren%26#39;t popular enough, we flew at the end of July this year, and there were a good number of empty seats, even on a small 80 + seater plane Brussels air were using.
I wait with fingers crossed..

The economic downturn will obviously dictate flight availability and holidays in general from now on - imagine that 2009 is going to be very different from 2008. Just read in our paper that cruise prices have plumetted, a 29 day P %26amp; O cruise to the Far East has been reduced from £5,600 to £1,600 !
Depending where you live in Wales, would the Birmingham - Bastia route with Holiday Options be any good, we flew it in September with Flybe and the plane was full. Birmingham is a nice airport and not busy like Gatwick.
|||
Thank you for the response the White%26#39;s, If there was one other airport we would use for convenience it would be the airport at Birmingham. We live in South Wales so Bristol, after Cardiff would be the obvious choice. I didn%26#39;t realise they were going from Birmingham to be honest. Depending on the flight times, I will certainly look at travelling from Birmingham next year. Thank you.

i think that easyjet do a Bristol- Charles de Gaulle? if it connects to CDG BIA you%26#39;re onto a winner.

Easyjet has announced a new route from Bristol to Bastia.
The weekly flight departs every Sunday from 24th May 2009, prices start at £22.99.
Good news, some flights from Bristol to Corsica at last!
|||
Yes, the Bristol-Bastia flight is good news. And it seems easyJet will be running a Manchester-Bastia service in high season and autumn, too.
So come on, you low cost airlines, how about a service from Southampton to Calvi? Don%26#39;t all rush! DTR
|||
And a flight from Cardiff would be nice too!
|||
fantastic news, Welsh traveler.
I%26#39;ll log on to the Easy jet site straight away and price up next August. if all goes well I%26#39;ll return here for accommodation advise on I%26#39;lle Rousse , or Calvi.
Phew, thank goodness i didn%26#39;t, in desperation book that holiday to Tunisia, i was looking at.
Thanks again... what a year it will be, with luck, another Welsh grand slam + most players ever in a lions tour party !! Merci..
