My partner and I are flying into Marseilles from Bournemouth and seek suggestions on the best things to see and do in a 7 day drive from Provence to Paris. My likes are fantastic landscape, old traditional villages, wine and a drink at the end of the day. Nothing too strenuous. Also seek small village B%26amp;amp;B type accommodation and eating suggestions%26amp;gt;Would appreciate suggestions. I have 7 to 8 days in which to do it. We are in our %26quot;YOUNG 50%26#39;s%26quot;!! Thanks to all who take the time to help.

The amount of time you have for getting from Marseille to Paris is wonderful--you won%26#39;t have to rush, and you can see some prime sights along the way. Are you planning to spend much time in Provence before you head north, or are the 7 to 8 days all for the journey?

Will be arriving in Marseilles June 5 and expect to be in Paris June 12 or 13, (a little flexible),which will give us 3 or 4 nights in Paris before taking train to Amsterdam on the 16th.

So...do you want to see something of Provence or just head straight to Paris?

Hi MikeTOz, If you treat this as a scenic driving trip, you could comfortably see parts of Provence, Annecy and the French Alps, some of Lake Geneva, and a drive through Burgundy to Paris.
Here is a link to a good map and planning site. Have Fun !!
