Just returned from a trip and want to plan another. My kids say I%26#39;ve become addicted to traveling. I%26#39;d like to try and see Paris and London during the Christmas/New Year%26#39;s week.
Does it make sense to fly in to Paris on Christmas and tour Paris on Dec 25, 26 and 27 and then take the Eurostar to London to finish the week? Am I correct in thinking that there will be more attractions open Dec 26 in Paris than in London? (The 26th falls on a Saturday this year)
Also, are the eurostar trains the same as the ones in Italy? I am asking because we are 5 people, each with a medium suitcase. On the Italian Eurostar we had no trouble bringing our luggage in first class.
Thank you in advance!!!

Makes sense to me. Paris will be decorated and beautiful. There is no boxing day in Paris.
On European trains there is space for luggage between the cars and between the back of some seats.
The overhead area is often full and not really designed for bulky heavy luggage. My experience is that trains are not really practical when traveling with luggage and yet people manage to fit everything in.

thank you! I%26#39;m going to start planning this trip....
