Hi All,
Would be it possible to get the train from Montpellier to Nice and arrive before midday? I will be in Montpellier in July and the next day have a flight from Nice to Munich at 1245.
I have seen on RailEurope that a few trains leave really early at 5am or so, so im guessing this is what I would catch?
Otherwise I may have to push my flight to later in the day.
Cheers,
Dave

The earliest train shown on the official French railway site leaves Montpellier at 06.02 and arrives at Nice Central at 10.55 with a change in Marseille. As your flight is within Europe, you should be OK. The fare for the journey would be €48.10.
RailEurope is not an official site. It is a commercial organisation that sells rail tickets and makes its money by charging a high fee for the service.
The official French train web site is www.voyages-sncf.com . You can book through this site, but not more than 60 days before travel.
