Picasso Exhibits

I plan to visit Paris in late january and I read about the special Picasso exhibits in three museums. Does anyone know if it is necessary to book in advance for these? Is there a ticket that covers the 3 different venues? And in general, how good are these exhibits?

FWIW, we visited the Picasso Museum, and I was disappointed. While there are many works there, they are not his best or most interesting. Note that these works were submitted to the State as payment for taxes, so they were not the best. If you are a Picasso devotee, it would make sense to visit, as I doubt any of these works would ever travel. No crowd there during the very busy Christmas week.

I don%26#39;t know when the one at Grand Palais ends, but you definitely need a reservation for that, as it is very full. You need advance tickets.

I was at the Picasso exhibition the other day. There was a small line. We waited maybe a 1/2 hour to get in. No problem getting tickets at the door. Also , when this show leaves the Grand Palais, it is going to the National Gallery in London. This is a show not to be missed. INCREDIBLE !

I went to the exhibit at the Grand Palais, without an advance reservation, in December. They have a separate line for those who walk up. It was the same for the De Miro a Warhol exhibit at the Musee du Luxembourg. If you have an advance reservation, you only need to show up at the appointed time and you would walk right in instead of waiting. The wait was about 30 mins at the Grand Palais.

I only bought the ticket for the exhibit at the Grand Palais, but it looked as if you could buy a ticket to cover the three venues. Perhaps you can find information on the website: grandpalais.fr/en/News/Current_programme_in_…
