Another cdg question; air france to continental

Looking for advise to make sure sure this will work before I confirm my tickets. I will be flying a 9:20AM AF flight from Lyon into 2F, and connecting to Continental in Terminal 2A. Assuming flights on time, etc, I will have 2hr to make connection. Walking time between terminals around 20 minutes?

I would always allow more time connecting from US, but will this be enough time to connect in CDG from Lyon?

I am ticketed through Continental, can anyone confirm that luggage will be checked through onto the Continental flight and I would just stay in secure transit zone at CDG?

Thanks as always,

T

Two hours should give you time to make this connection. Your luggage should be checked through from Lyon to Newark (check the tags as they are placed on your luggage at the check in desk).

As to whether or not you stay in the airport secure area, the best answer would be to ask airport personal upon arrival. Based upon the time it might take from 2F to 2A by shuttle, it may be faster to walk (requiring your passing through security).
