Hi
Just wanted to know if anyone knows some where to stay that isnt too expensive in Alpe D%26#39;Huez. I am hoping to spend up to 130 Euro at the most. I have a small budget. I have stayed there before and we stayed at the Alpe Azur and it wasnt that great. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks for the help.

I have booked the Hôtel Le Printemps de Juliette for 120Euro. It%26#39;s a twin room with spa and balcony breakfast included. Its the cheapest I found. Bit worried bout the review of it though. Hope its ok. Remember what it looked like though and it was really nice.
The 2nd choice was Alp Azur where we stayed last time which was 145 but I didnt really like it. Our room was pretty shabby and the water in the bathroom run all night. When are you going?

We are heading there on 26th Jan for a week, decided to book independently this year as we usually go with a tour operator. We have flights and transfers for £100 each and we are hoping to get a serious bargain on the accommodation to get it all in for less than £200.
Fingers crossed!!
I think we may look to rent an apartment privately but not sure about the layout of the town and which area is best to stay with regards to lifts, bars, etc etc.

You should be alright, we%26#39;ve just booked for a week in March and for four of us it was only £107 each for the accomodation! This year we stayed in the Bergers apartments and that was £170 each self catering. The accomodation was basic but that was all that was needed as we were out all day skiing and there was enough equipment in the apartment to cook on the evenings we wanted to. Next year we are staying in the apartments next door to the Bergers as it was cheaper for a larger room, only thing is I%26#39;m not sure what it was called as I wasn%26#39;t the one who booked it and my boyfriend can%26#39;t remember!
You%26#39;ll just have to keep searching on line for the best bargain. The earlier you book tho the cheaper the price. The prices are even cheaper if you can speak french and book via a french website, this is what my friend has done for the last few years.
Happy searching!

Hi to All,
I am also looking for a budget accomodation, self catering. The target week is 28 March - 4 April.
Any good suggestions? With the pound tumbling down as it does now we are not extremely discerning, but basics would be a must.
Can anyone also advise if the resort is good for rather advanced skiers?
Thanks in advance, see you on the slopes!
