Flowers In Bloom In April?

Will Paris be %26quot;in bloom%26quot; April 1st?

At latitude 48°N on April 1st, I should think that even the tulips will not have yet bloomed.

Parc Floral (south of Vincennes) had huge beds of blooming tulips on last April 10 according to my pictures. I am sure something pops up during your stay. I know the daffodils are out in force by the end of March.

My pictures from the last week of March, 2007, show tulips, pansies, but no leaves on the trees. I imagine every year may be different though.

That is wonderful news! My first trip to Paris was in Jan. and it was so cold and frosty, everything was shades of gray. I am looking forward to seeing a little color this time! Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Each year is different but Yes, many flowers are in bloom in April !!!

Of course more in the second part of the month.

Look for beautiful wysterias for example at musee de la vie romantique and also white and pink chestnut trees (Place saint sulpice for example)

Ooops... just saw the April 1 date.

You will need a warm spring for a variety of flowers at that time.
