vacation apartment rental/nightly

My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris in July. We would like to rent an apartment but have found most will only rent for a full week but we will only be there for 3/4 nights. Any suggestions.

You can try www.centreparis.com. They tend to have the budget, no frills type of apartments, and will rent for 4 days. We are renting one of their apartments in May 09, so I will post a review of it then. Although it wasn%26#39;t on their website, they have a minimum rental of 4 days, at least for the one we%26#39;re renting anyways.

There is also www.vacationinparis.com. I believe some of the apartments there can be rented out for shorter than 7 days, but they may charge a premium for short term stays.

Check vrbo.com listings... We are currently in process of booking an apartment for our trip and I%26#39;ve noticed that some listings do allow for stays less than a week long. Most will have the rate for less than a week on the information page, so you just have to skim through the listings.

Good luck.

Also try Homelidays - www.homelidays.com. You can search for %26quot;short stays%26quot; and there is a wide variety to choose from. The only (potential) drawback is that, like VRBO, they are rentals by owner and not through an agency, and this is not within everyone%26#39;s comfort zone. But have a look and see what you think.

An agency site that does shorter stays is www.all-paris-apartments.com.

Btw, Amsterdam, Vacation In Paris is located in New Jersey if that makes you any more comfortable. There is usually a surcharge for staying less than 5 nights though. I%26#39;ve used them 5 or 6 times, all with great success. Happy travels!

Vivre à Paris normally rent for 4 nights minimum, but will offer 3 nights at a small surcharge if it%26#39;s not a peak period.

My husband %26amp; I stayed in a very cute studio apartment in the Marais in Sept for 4 nights, right in the heart of everything on Rue de Rivoli, the St.Paul metro stop is less than a 2 minute walk away, many shops, bakeries, cafe, grocery store closeby. The owners Bernard %26amp; Marie were wonderful %26amp; had some items already bought in the refrigerator for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay there....parisrendezvous.com...they even provided us with a cell phone to use while there. We would definitely stay there again.
