With the state of the £ against the euro has anybody any tips on where to get a reasonably priced meal? And what about the prices in the supermarkets? Any info will be much appreciated.

Hi,
We visited Val-Thorens for a day and there seemed to be lots of cheap snack bars, apart from that I can%26#39;t really tell you much else about the resort itself. However we hire a car and drive to the resorts every year and we always stop off at a supermarket on the way and do one big shop. We usually stop at one just after Albertville and the prices are so so much cheaper than in the supermarkets in resort that you will save a fortune.
Another tip, check out http://travelmoney.moneysavingexpert.com/ to find the best deal on your currency. By ordering online you get a much better rate, you get it delivered to your door (fully insured of course) and it just another way of getting more for your money. We have ended up with far more currency by doing this than just going into a travel agents or a high street shop and getting money changed.
Hope this helps and have a great holiday!
