Hello, I am thinking or organising a ski trip for a group of thirty somethings to Samoen. Is there good nightlife in the resort?

Probably not the place to go if you want clubbing. The nearest one is a long way! If you want a few lively bars and plenty of restaurants, then yes. The cosy irish bar %26quot;Coveys%26quot; on the edge of the village is always fun. %26quot;Aspen%26quot; in the centre of the village is also a good night. The bars stay open until about 2, but clubs they are not!

you might find Flaine a better bet if you wish to be based in the Grand Massif.
if its night life you are after the Val D%26#39;Isere or Val Thorens or Courchevel/Meribel will fit the bill........but maybe not the wallet as they are ££££

But Flaine is DULL! Good skiing, but very %26quot;self catered%26quot;. If it%26#39;s nightlife you want, head for Austria, they are mad!

Samoens is lovely, but not the place for a loud night out! It%26#39;s great if you want a good meal and a few drinks, but if it%26#39;s clubbing and loud apres ski then try elsewhere. Morzine in the Portes du Soleil might be a better option for you - loads of bars to choose from.
