Hi
We are a group of intermediate skiers/snowboarders and are going to Chamonix in March. Can anyone recommend the best Ski area for us to use? and how would we get there? I am under the impression that the slopes are relatively spread out?
Thanks

Not including the Mer de Glace (Agile du Midi lift) you have 4 ski areas.
Brevente/Flegere now linked by a cable car. Good for any level of skier.
La Tour good for beginners/intermediates
Les Grand Montets(LGM) Intermediatres to expert.
All that said expert or novices are catered for on all the areas. It is you who determines how hard or easy you make it.
There is a ski bus service , free with a lift pass, up and dpwn the valley and they appear to be pretty frequent. But you only need one in the morning and one back in the afternoon.
I don%26#39;t really use this service as if I do not ski at LGM I normally drive and park. With the exception of the Brevente lift car park (1 euro per day) they are all free.
There have been other posts criticising the ski bus service namely it is crowded but this appears to be only at peak times.
