Carrefour de l'Odeon apartment

Considering an apt. (VRBO 108279)in this area of the 6th for 6 nights. Seems like a good location (unfortunatley all of the Parisbestlodge accom. were booked for our time frame--end of May)

Any input from those in the know? It%26#39;s our second trip to Pris, stayed in the 5th last time, viewing the %26quot;backside%26quot; of Notre Dame.

It%26#39;s an incredible location. I can%26#39;t speak for the apartment but the neighborhood is fantastic. If the apartment is what it claims to be, you couldn%26#39;t do better.

I agree with Metromole. I stayed nearby on rue Racine. It%26#39;s a great area.

The terrace looks wonderful, especially if your visit is during warmer months.

I just spent the month of October on the rue de Conde which is steps from the Carrefour de l%26#39;Odeon. It is a PERFECT location in my opinion. You have 2 good metro lines (north/south and east/west) plus several bus lines, including one to the Marais so if it%26#39;s raining and you don%26#39;t want to walk....

I stayed in a VRBO apt. which I loved and would go back tomorrow.

GREAT LOCATION...in a GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD...within easy strolling/walking distances of a great many Paris sites and attractions (simply locate Carrefour de l%26#39;Odéon on a map of Paris and judge for yourself)...more than enough good restaurants, bistros and cafés to suit almost any taste, appetite or budget...more than enough stores and shops to max out almost any level of %26#39;plastic%26#39;... boulangeries, patisseries...if this neighborhood has a %26#39;fault%26#39;, it%26#39;s that there%26#39;s so much right there that you may be reluctant to venture out into Paris%26#39; other great neighborhoods. The immediate neighborhood is a great mix of quiet streets, busy avenues, the peace of Jardin du Luxembourg...et al.

nutsabout travel, would you be willing to give me the VRBO number where you stayed (even in a pm) in case mine falls through (which I hope it doesn%26#39;t!) We%26#39;ve always had good luck with VRBO (probably have rented through that site half a doezen times now)
