we are asian couple planning to go there next year for the first time, are there many asian visiting ? need advise

No, we never saw many. But the the people and the atmosphere is such friendly, I don%26#39;t think will be disappointed.

Asian visitors tend to arrive in clumps on tours - so it%26#39;s possible that the day after the OP left the area, 300 folks arrived from Korea or China. If you%26#39;re traveling independently (and most Malaysians seem to do that), whether or not you see other Asian tourists will depend entirely on the luck of the draw.

Don%26#39;t make your decisions based on what other folks would do - do what you%26#39;ll most enjoy.
