Awhile back I remember seeing a post that someone had a list of all the free public toilets in Paris. It was in English %26amp; easy to understand. I can%26#39;t find that post. If someone has that list or link to, can you please post it. Thanks.

While we%26#39;re on the subject, there was a post on here many months ago about a public washroom near the Madeleine that was art deco and quite something inside. Where exactly is this place? I remember the poster provided a link to photos of it. Thought I might pop by when in that area in May. As I recall it was public, but there was an attendant so one would tip to use the facilities.

Here is a picture of the beautiful %26quot;toilettes publiques de la Madeleine%26quot;; even if you don%26#39;t need to go, it is worth seeing:

These wonderful, Art Nouveau, public toilet (now that%26#39;s a term you don%26#39;t hear often) are located below Place de la Madeleine (16 Place de la Madeleine, 75008, Metro: Madeleine) The entrance stairs down (green, iron fenced) are located along the right (east) side of Église de la Madeleine.
Unfortunately, its open/closed hours tend to be more of a %26#39;suggestion%26#39; than actual schedule.

Thanks for the info!

Use bathroom before leaving hotel and also every time you stop for a drink/meal and you should be fine. Museums, department stores and some metro stations have (paying) bathroons.
