Just checked Montreal-Paris return (via Frankfurt I believe)... depart July 1 and return

July 23. $3,200 CDN for 2 people.

Not much of a deal for me. Maybe other cities and dates might yield better prices.

AA has RT fares from the Los Angeles to paris for $600.00 including taxes....any better out there?

Last time I flew with Air France to States, I noticed that all the good seats they keep for last minute (bulkhead - exit rows) were given for an additional 50 Euros,

Ya, I was a little skeptical, we are actually visiting Italy, but we figured for that price we can just take one way flights to Italy from Paris, and now we get to see Paris also.

Big Sky--check out seat61.com for all the great trains that run from Paris to Italy. We always shop for the cheapest airfares to any city in Europe, then train it to our actual destination. Trains are SO much better than the nightmares that are in most airline terminals. Works for us.

Are you kidding me??? That is fantastic! Can you give me more details, such as the dates you are travelling, etc. Did you book it on Expedia?

I booked directly with Iceland Air, it seems to go back and forth between $250 to about $500 per ticket, just keep checking and use the flexible date option.

We are leaving out of Toronto and flying to Paris, with 1 layover. We are leaving June 19 and returning June 30.

I just checked at it looks like it went back up to $500 per ticket, but it did this the other day when I was going to book, it was low for a couple hours in the evening, and then it went back up, I just checked the next day and it was high in the morning, but then in the afternoon it had gone back down to $250.00.
