Hi All,
My girlfriend and I will be flying in to CDG on March 7th in the morning and we will be flying out of Geneva on March 15th. The original reason for this was because her sister was doing a semester in Grenoble, so we figured that we%26#39;d see Paris then go down to Grenoble to see her and fly out of Geneva.
Well, her sister had to come home due to complications, and we had the option to cancel the trip. I said no way, why waste a trip? We have not booked any accommodation yet, so we are completely open except for our flights. Neither of us have been to France before, so we were wondering, what should we do with our time?
I was thinking spending 4 days in Paris and we%26#39;d *like* to see Mont Saint Michel and Normandy, but unfortunately that%26#39;s in the opposite direction. What other options do we have? I know that is a pretty broad question. We%26#39;re both 24 and on somewhat of a budget (with no car).
Are there any small towns or cool castles we could visit on our way down to Geneva? We also considered staying in Geneva for a bit, but apparently some international show is going on and all the accommodation is booked (except for what is out of our price range).
Thank you for your help!
