getting to disneyland

Hi,

My girlfriend and I are going for a long weekend to Paris and will be going to disneyland. We are staying in the Quality Inn La Defense 2 avenue Benoit Frachon, Nanterre, PARIS, 92000 but want to know what is the cheapest and best way to get to disneyland?

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Luke

didn%26#39;t look up your exact address but there are 3 stops on the RER in Nanterre, so one of them should work.

See this network map?

ratp.info/orienter/…

On the far left side, red line (RER-A) find the Nanterre stops. On the right side, end of the red line, find the DLP stop.

You can buy a r/t ticket for just the trip, or you can buy a %26quot;Mobilis%26quot; day-ticket that will work for the trip and any additional travel within Paris that day. (you need zone 5)

Hi,

You can download the map of the RER that goes to Disney (%26quot;Marne La Vallee%26quot; station) from ratp.info/picts/plans/pdf/reseaux/rer_a.pdf and the time table from ratp.info/picts/…h_a_jo_mlv.pdf

Your hotel is close to the RER line A1 station %26quot;Nanterre-Ville %26quot;. From there take the RER to a station from which you can connect to the A4 to Disney (for example La Defense). Get down there and wait for the RER line A4 to Marne La Vallee (Disney).

I believe that taking the map and the time table with you will be enough, but just to be on the safe side: on the platform you%26#39;ll see a board with all the available stations for the line. The stations of the following train should be illuminated, so watch this before boarding the train.

Regarding tickets: the best option is to buy a Mobilis (a daily ticket) for zones 1-5.

If you%26#39;re under 26 and travel on Saturday or Sunday, you can buy a discounted ticket called %26quot;Ticket Jeunes Week-end%26quot;.

Regarding tickets to the park, please search this forum for %26quot;FRANCILIEN%26quot; ticket.

Have a great vacation!

From any of the %26#39;NANTERRE%26#39; stations on the RER %26#39;A%26#39; ligne, you simply take any %26#39;A%26#39; train with a %26#39;..Q xxx..%26#39; designation of the %26#39;A-4%26#39; ligne toward MARNE LA VALLËE-CHESSY....approx 50-55 mins.

This is a Zones 1-5 trip so the one-calendar-day MOBILIS Zone 1-5 Transportation Pass (12,90€) is you best bet for the round-trip fare as well as any other public transportation fares in Paris during the day or evening.

There%26#39;s no direct train from %26quot;Nanterre – Ville%26quot; to Marne la Vallee (you can check the time table or easier - the itinerary planner at www.ratp.info), so as I mentioned, a train to %26quot;Nanterre – Préfecture%26quot; or %26quot;La Défense%26quot; (those are the trains that begin with %26quot;N%26quot;) should be taken first.

Hi,

I%26#39;ve just realized that I gave you the time table of weekdays. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, please use ratp.info/picts/…h_a_sd_mlv.pdf
