Blanc appartement Riviera Pebbles: anyone tried it?

Hi everybody! Would anyone has rented the Blanc Appartment in the past? If so, how was it? Good points and bad points?

Hi

Just returned from Nice last week and it was amazing. We used Riveria Pebbles. We didn%26#39;t stay in the apartment you mentioned, we stayed in Rosetti.

The whole experience was fantastic. From Gayle and Matt meeting us and then getting to the apartment that was so amazing I didn%26#39;t want to come home. The sinks had fibre optics lights in them, the staircase light up, we had a huge plasma tv with sky plus and and an amazing fire.

I%26#39;m sure you won%26#39;t be disappointed. We%26#39;ve used other companies before and stayed in different apartments but this one was far and anyway the best ever. You%26#39;ll love it.

Hi

My boyfriend and I stayed there at the beginning of March, we didn’t meet Gayle and Matt but we’re greeted by Simon who was lovely and even carried our bags up the stairs.

The apartment was fab, just like the photos and in a great location next to the old town where we found a lovely little restaurant called Café des Marches. The terrace area (could do with a little work) was great for sitting out and relaxing in the sun which we managed to do on two afternoons during our stay!

The only bad points was it was a little cold at night and the TV only plays DVDs – we missed the news!

Apart from that we had a fab time and are looking at booking with Riviera Pebbles again in September.

Anymore info let me know,

A warning to non-European would be bookers. Be aware the 6 hrs time lapse between North America and Europe just made me loose the booking for this flat. I sent an enquiry form, got this answer : %26quot;If you are interested in booking this apartment please let me know and I will send you a booking form.%26quot; I answered within an hour or so as I woke up at 7AM and said %26quot;Yes please send me a booking form.%26quot;

Here is the answer: %26quot;Just to let you know that I have received another enquiry for some of your dates and they are now booking. As we work on a first come first serve basis I am forced to hold the apartment for them for 48hrs or until they pay the deposit. If they fail to do so then I can offer the apartment to you once again.%26quot;

I was p...ed off to say the least. Here%26#39;s the answer I then got after complaining that being 1st now 2nd was disappointing:%26quot;I am incredibly sorry about the situation, i think that maybe the time difference from Canada meant that this other person slipped in between our email exchanges and booked before I could respond to your booking, I can only offer my sincerest apologies about this.%26quot;

We had inquired for a 2 weeks stay and were bumped by a 3-nighter... That%26#39;s life folks but for me that%26#39;s also %26quot;That%26#39;s all folks. Asta la vista Riviera Pebbles%26quot;

Hi

Speaking as an Australian who stayed in the ‘Lympia’ apartment run by Riviera Pebbles over Christmas, I received nothing but great service from start to finish. Booking the apartment was easy and we never had any problems even with our time difference of 10 hours.

Simon and Amanda met us at the apartment and were extremely helpful, telling us where to go for Christmas lunch and showing us how everything in the apartment worked, they even provided a bottle of wine for us.

I think the fact that you couldn’t book your apartment and are now complaining about that shows what kind of person you are – also you say your 2 week stay was bumped by a 3 nighter surely if they were being dodgy they would have bumped the 3 night stay and taken yours?

Keep flying the flag Riviera Pebbles,

Dan Marshall,

Sydney

Dont%26#39; want to get into the middle of anything here, but I am also interested in Riviera Pebbles and their one bedroom apts in Nice. The prices seem quite reasonable (to me). True or not? But no mention of parking. For those who have used them, where do we park the car?

Merci.
