Small town near Disneyland?

Can someone recommend a town near Disneyland where a person could get some nice French restaurants. I will have a car and would like to drive out the country some evening to sample some traditional French cuisine.

Define %26#39;nice%26#39;...?

|||

and how far %26#39;out in the country%26#39; you%26#39;re willing to go?

|||

OK lads, thanks for your replys. I think I%26#39;ll try Provins maybe.

|||

Provins seems miles away.

|||

finbarrk, I wasn%26#39;t being a smartaleck...my questions were serious.

Provins is over an hour%26#39;s drive away from Disney...and there are shedloads of restaurants there that are set up to shill tourists, too.

so once again...what do you define as %26quot;nice%26quot;? Does it have to have stars? If so, how many? Would you consider a mom-and-pop place to be nice if it%26#39;s good food at a decent price?

How much are you looking to spend?

And how far out into the countryside are you willing to venture? Are you talking 5-10 miles, or are you up for an hours%26#39; drive or more?

And %26#39;traditional%26#39; means different things to different people...are you talking about traditional Provencal? traditional Breton? Normand? the Ile-de-France region?

I%26#39;m really, truly trying to help -- and backhanding me with a sarcastic %26quot;thanks%26quot; doesn%26#39;t accomplish that. You asked a pretty open-ended question, then got perturbed when I tried to clarify...

Don%26#39;t worry sunshine, the thanks wasn%26#39;t meant for you. It was fot travelnutty who was a help anyway.

You could head east and try Meaux - its a fair sized town and I am sure you will find somewhere pleasant there. Failing that you are not far from %26quot;Cheese Country%26quot; You could try the Auberge du Souterrain in Crecy la Chapelle - Ive never tried it but it has a few good reviews if you google it.
