Metro Tickets Validity

I have a few tickets left over from a carnet I bought a couple of years ago. Can I still use them when I pass through Paris in March? At the current exchange rate every lttle helps.

To my knowledge they do not expire. Bring and try them out.

YUP...Metro Tickets don%26#39;t expire and will work the same way they did during your last visit.

They don%26#39;t expire but they do demagnetize. Some of our friends returning to Paris have experienced dead tickets due to exposure to magnetic fields like magnet-clasps on purses or electronics like mobile phones.

Yes I confirm they demagnetize pretty fast, especially if you have a bag with a magnetic clasp (that I do have!). But the tickets are still valid, even if demagnetized: if this happens, just go to the desk and they will simply give you new tickets.

Many thanks, I know queues build up at the ticket desk at Gare du Nord and I will be towards the back of the Eurostar.
