Francs Bourgeois, French Flair, or Paris address apartment

Hello,

I have narrowed down my search to four apartments and would love to hear if anyone knows a bit more about the actual apartments or the area:

Francs Bourgeois

French Flair

Paris address

obviously it is very tempting to go with the cheapest Francs Bourgeois but we are travelling with a small child (nearly 2) so I am not sure whether a particular apartment is better than the other (in regards to safety and noise)

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Dear Ecika...I stayed in the Francs bougeois apartment in December. Here is my review.

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187147-i14-k24397…

From the point of view of a two year old. The place des Vosges is yards away for him/her to run around.

There is probably room for a toddler to play in the apartment, the furnishings are minimal so not a lot to break or get in the way, and it is safe and quiet.

There would probably be room in the bedroom for a cot. Ther are good bus links for travel with a buggy. Also good metro links.

However the TV reception is not good if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the evenings in the apartment and the view is Ok but uninspiring. I can%26#39;t think of any other disadvantages. PM me if you have any specific questions.

With a small child, I wouldn%26#39;t choose the Francs Bourgeois apartment (of course if price is not your only criteria)!

I assume that you will sleep in the separate bedroom and put your kid on the sofa bed, am I right? Your kid probably will sleep early so you need to have a comfortable space to spend the evening. The Francs Bourgeois apartment is very small, I think you noticed that the room is just the bed size...Moreover you can%26#39;t see any window on the pictures, all lights are on, I assume it overlooks a very narrow backyard....

I would choose between the 2 largest apartments, either the République one (40m2), or the Temple one (47m2).

The plus of the République is that it is located at 7th floor (with a lift), that means not as much noise as a 1st floor apartment, a lot of light and a view.

The plus of the Temple apartment is the neighborhood, close to le Marais, close to my favourite market in Paris, marché des enfants rouges! The apartment itself has less charm but is large, calm (overlooks a courtyard, that is a nice one) and seems functionnal...Not an easy choice!

I think to describe the Francs Bourgeois as very small is misleading. If you look at my pictures you can see that the bedroom is much larger than the bed size and there would be room for a cot and room to walk around the bed. Therefore you could put the baby to bed and sit in the living room.

I am assuming cenreparis will provide a cot. The sofa bed would not be suitable for a toddler as he/she would not be restrained and would be able to get up in the middle of the night unsupervised There are two large windows in the apartment, my pictures show the view.

This is my personal opinion. As a grandmother who has stayed in this apartment I would be happy to take my grandchild there.

I cannot comment on the other apartments as I have not stayed there.

Of course you know from your own experience Denise, so better than I do; I just spoke after the pictures and did not see your post before posting actually (otherwise I would not have posted...
