When we visited Paris a couple of years ago, we spent quite a bit of time at a lovely Scottish pub that was within walking distance of the flat we rented (the flat was a few doors down from the Picasso Museum). It was near an art school at which several of its patrons were studying--if that helps. I simply cannot remember the name of it, however, but want to visit again (we are planning to be in Paris during the first week of March)--and I%26#39;m afraid that if we end up staying somewhere else, we will have difficulty finding it. Does anyone know the name of the pub? Many thanks.

The Auld Alliance seems the most likely, though it%26#39;s actually in the 4th (80 rue Francois Miron).
In 2nd, not far from 3rd, is The Thistle, 112 rue Saint-Denis.

I am quite sure that you are both correct--and that it was Auld Alliance. I have saved the link for future reference. (And apologies for managing to cite the incorrect Arr.--whoops!) Thank you so very much for your kind help!
