According to the SNCF timetable, there are just 2 possibilities, with a change in Bordeaux both times:

AEROPORT CDG 2 TGV 08h56

BORDEAUX ST JEAN 13h05 (arrive)

BORDEAUX ST JEAN 13h14 (depart)

LOURDES 15h53

and

AEROPORT CDG 2 TGV 13h37

BORDEAUX ST JEAN 18h03 (arrive)

BORDEAUX ST JEAN 18h17 (depart)

LOURDES 21h10

Cost ranges from 60€ one way if you book the first one now, up to 102€ for a full fare ticket on the second (peak time)

As far as I know, there is no convenient option for bus travel.

We just did this trip- Paris-Lourdes. We took the TGV train From the Montparnasse train station in the center of Paris. The train took five hours and forty five minutes, with three stops before Lourdes. It was fast and comfortable. You do need to take a taxi from the train station into Lourdes. It is too far to walk with luggage.

Question as to a train from CDG vs one in Paris and where to connect.

On the SNCF site for CDG use Roissy.

Thank you so very much for the information.

Big God Bless

The TGV that leaves from Gare Montparnasse in Paris is not the same train as the one that leaves from CDG - to get the train from Montparnasse you would have to first take a taxi or shuttle or RER into Paris to Gare Montparnasse. It will be more convenient if you take one of the two that leaves from CDG.

Thanks for your post. Our group is also going to Lourdes in March 2009 on the TGV from the Montparnasse station. I%26#39;d like to know how far the walk would be from the Metro Line 4 stop to the train station. We%26#39;d be coming from Porte de Clignancourt and do I assume the Metro stop is Montparnasse Bienvenue?
