Good campsite for families

I%26#39;m looking for a decent campsite with mobile home/chalet, no discos but a some entertainment in evenings, a little inland where it%26#39;s a bit quieter, but within driving distance of the beach. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi there

When are you travelling ??? there are available a schemm called Holiday Cheques that are 5* sites but out of High season offer dicounts (like the camping Cheques we use for our caravan)

There are also the Eurocamp / Keycamp companies who offer complete packages

We went here a couple of years ago

madcaravanner.co.uk/index_files/MasDePierred…

this is a site in a place called Sanary Sur Mer not far from St Trop but only 2 miles from it%26#39;s own town beach there%26#39;s a link to the sites own website there

Thanks for your suggestion. I%26#39;m going in August, via Avignon. Looking for campsite that%26#39;s not too busy. I%26#39;ll check out out the one you mention. Any suggestions further east towards Camargue? Cheers.

August is when everything starts to quieten down and a lot of sites are shut by September 15th

We so far have given the Carmargue a miss nearest we%26#39;ve been was Beziers (not close I know)as we prefer Catalonian France and Spain

this is the site I use to find new campsites

www.lescampingsdefrance.com/index_uk.php

Click on the Departmental number where you want to go and it wil bring you up a list of around 90% of the campsites in the region

Hope that Helps you
