Hi,Myself and boyfriend are planning on travelling to paris for our 5 year anniversary in september/october,just for two nights, will leave friday morning, arrive home sunday night.
I have been once before but it was over a decade ago.
Im looking for a nice,clean,central-ish hotel, the room size doesnt have to be huge as I know most paris hotels arent.dont really want to spend more than €500 on accom so probably €100/120 a night. Can anyone reccomend anywhere nice for these prices(or cheaper even!)
I found a few hotels I thought were ok,has anyone stayed in these?

Whats the area near the eiffel tower like, have seen some ok hotels on here with views of the tower from your room which could be nice:)
Also apart from the usual touristy things what else is good to do while were there, especially at night.are the moulin rouge or le lido worth the money?
Thanks in advance for any replies:D

Hi,
I stayed in a new hotel called Mama Shelter. It was about 10-15mins out of the centre on the metro but the hotel was lovely and brand new. The bar was also lovely but quite expensive.
Have a look on their website, but I paid 370 euros for three nights for two people which is very cheap considering it is paris.
The taxi from the airport cost us 30 euros too which I didnt think was bad.
I didnt like the area round near where the eiffel tower was, I much prefered where we stayed.
We visited the Moulin Rouge and I thought it was well worth the money, we did all the main tourist sites in three days and we were not rushed so you will have enough time to visit all you want in that time.
Have a great one!!

The area around the Eiffel Tower is the 7th arrond. It is a very nice, quiet neighborhood. We have stayed in this area once at the Hotel du Champ de Mars and liked it very much. The hotel is around 100 euros a night but fills up fast because it is in quite a few guide books. There are other hotels in this area also that are in your price range. I can%26#39;t comment about things to do at night because after we had dinner we either walked to the Eiffel Tower to watch it twinkle or we were so exhausted from our day that we went to bed. Good Luck
