Torn between 'Au Sourire de Montmartre' or 'La Villa Paris'

My husband and I are staying in Paris for 2 nights (for my 30th) and are so torn between the two above B%26amp;Bs that rate so highly on this site! Both look lovely and are the same price. The only thing i can%26#39;t work out is the travelling distance/ease from CDG airport - this could be the only deciding factor!!

Thanks for any help on this decision!!!

Both are a fair way from the city centre, so you would be reliant on the Métro or RER to get you to the main attractions. La Villa Paris in the 13th is much easier to get to from CDG by public transport: it%26#39;s a direct train from the airport on RER line B to Cite Universitaire, from where it%26#39;s a 10-minute walk to the B%26amp;B. Also, the RER service is quite frequent and would get you to Notre Dame, say, in a few minutes. (The usual Métro/bus tickets are valid on the RER within the city.) However, the area is mainly residential, and apart from the Parc Montsouris by the RER station, which is delightful, doesn%26#39;t have a great deal to offer the tourist, in my (admittedly limited) experience of it.

Au Sourire de Montmartre in the 18th is behind Sacre Coeur, near Jules Joffrin station on Line 12 - though not quite as close as the map on their website shows! (The address is 64 Rue du Mont Cenis, 75018 Paris. Google maps will show you where it is.) The area is an interesting one, and although the top of the hill by Sacre Coeur can get crowded, there%26#39;s a lot of Parisian character to explore there. Getting there from CDG by public transport would mean the RER to Gare du Nord, then Métro Line 4 to Marcadet Poissoniers, then Line 12 to Jules Joffrin. As far as I remember it%26#39;s a longish interchange at Marcadet P. You might decide that a taxi from Gare du Nord would be better than dragging luggage around the Métro (or of course a taxi from CDG if you%26#39;re happy to pay around 50 euros.)

Hope this helps.
