hotel choice for paris anniversary

Hi! Traveling to Paris for anniversary Dec 5-8.

our last trip we stayed at Hotel Britannique and loved it but want to try something different. we have narrowed hotel choice between K+K Hotel Cayre

and Hotel Elysees Regencia. we love boutique hotels

... location is key... would love opinions to best choice between the two options or other suggestions. thanks!

Hi Lisdesign--I am also from New Jersey--planning a 20th wedding anniversary stay in Paris in April. I went to school in Paris thru the Rutgers program. My husband and I will be staying at the Hotel Saint Jacques in the Latin Quarter--the 5th arr. I also considered the Hotel des Grandes Écoles. There is a French website called www.guidesdecharme.com that lists hotels which have qualified as Hotels of Charm in France. You might want to check their site. The Grandes Écoles is on that site. Not sure about the Saint Jacques. The SJ has upgraded rooms with views of Notre Dame. Both hotels have good websites. the Saint Jacques:

I love hotel des grandes ecoles, but don%26#39;t know if you can reserve for December -- they take reservations about 4 months ahead and are often booked. But December may be slow.

trip advisor has a site for top rated hotels paris. %26#39;paris france overview top hotels%26#39;. hotel de l%26#39;abbaye saint germain looks fabulous with great reviews. i an also looking for a hotel for 2009. best of luck

The K+K Hotel Cayre is in a very popular area, and is a little more %26#39;central%26#39; to sights, broadly speaking. I%26#39;d scour the reviews of both hotels and make a %26#39;pros/cons%26#39; type of comparison to make a choice between the properties themselves.
