The Hotel Chaplain completely renovated last year (and of course doubled prices), so it is probably the newest freshest of the two choices. The location is nice, by J. de Luxembourg but not in the crowded St Germain core. Do the TA reviews starting from the renovation support my %26#39;belief%26#39;?

oh, another one that opened as %26#39;new%26#39; last year is near the Chaplain, also getting good TA comments (last time I noticed):

Of the 2 hotels I would choose Chaplain. It has a very good location in the 6th, the other area I like much less and it%26#39;s less central.

Do a search here on the forum page for the reviews for whatever hotels interest you. Put the name and city in the search box and hit go.
