Arc & Louve: morning or afternoon?

I am adjusting my itinerary for next week. Would the Arc %26amp; the Louve be less crowded in the later afternoon? Ot should I go 1st thing in am when they open? I will have the pass.

I just want to avoid long lines %26amp; bumper to bumper people, if possible. Thanks!

I checked the 10 day forcast for next week %26amp; the 1st 2 days I%26#39;m there say rain/snow. : ( I%26#39;d rather it be cold %26amp; clear.) Oh well, it may change. It did the last time I checked.

It doesn%26#39;t matter when you go to the Arc de Triomphe--there is rarely much of a line, if any. You have to decide if you want to see the daylight view or the nighttime view. It is my favorite view of Paris.

Louvre--you don%26#39;t need to worry about a line if you enter on Rue de Rivoli under the red and white vertical banner saying %26quot;caroussel%26quot;. Take the escalator downstairs, walk past the shops on your right and your left, until you come into a large open area. Right there are machines where you can purchase your ticket into the Louvre. Decide which wing of the Louvre you wish to enter, go through that short security line, and then enter the Louvre. You won%26#39;t experience much of a line, if any. So it doesn%26#39;t matter what time you go.

However, in terms of being crowded at the Louvre, it would probably be better to go mid-afternoon or later on Wednesday and Friday when it is open in the evening (however, I think there are certain parts of the Louvre which aren%26#39;t open at night).
