Just wondering if anyone is able to assist in naming a restaurant for me.
my now husband took me there for a gorgeous dinner after having proposed underneathe the Eiffel Tower.
It%26#39;s a very small restaurant (aren%26#39;t they all?), that served mainly duck (I had a divine duck salad).
The decor was typical french, but there were little ducks and models of ducks everywhere.
Its on the left-hand side of the road (if you%26#39;re facing north), on a road that i can%26#39;t remember (!) between the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler.
We went past the restaurant walking back from Eiffel Tower toward our hotel on Rue Cler...it was about halfway.
Any ideas?

Does this look or sound familiar (once a Rick Steve favorite)--
Restaurant LA SERRE (at Hôtel La Serre)--

Or Thoumieux at 79, rue Saint Dominique? http://www.thoumieux.com
Maybe you can have a look at a map, or use Google Earth, to reconstruct how you walked? That way you might be able to narrow the search down to a few streets...

I found it!
Au Petit Sud Ouest.....divine!
