england, france and italy

hi there, my husband my 8 year old son and i want to experience some of europe, we only have 3 weeks and would love to see england, france and italy. Any suggestions would be appreciated, my son wants to see disneyland and we would love to experience some of the culture of these countries, travelling the countryside visiting castles and places of history,with things for kids to see on the way. But we are afraid that 3 weeks may not be enough. We have never been to europe and dont know whether to drive or catch trains around.
