Question: If our train to munich leaves at 10:30, how early should we plan to arrive at the station?

Throughout Italy, when I was there we often didn%26#39;t arrive at the platform until 10 minutes before departure....this was a little tight for me, so normally would try to be there half an hour before.

On your itinerary, I think 2 hours at Arc De Triomphe is a little long...I think we spent about 20-30 minutes walking around it but didn%26#39;t go up it. Instead, we took a ride ont he ferris wheel at the end of Champs Elysees which gave us views of Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Arc De Triomphe and the Louvre.

Also, may want to consider trying to do the Eiffel Tower on the first night - just in case...

Do you have to go through customs and passport check before you leave for Munich? Make sure you know about this because it might change your schedule.

Otherwise, I would suggest a few changes:

Arc de Triomphe is not worth more than an hour, especially if you do not plan to go on top.

Less time for the Tuileries as well. Much less impressive in winter so less time spent there.

Plan a little more time for the Eiffel Tower... the queues can be pretty long outside AND between the second floor and the top.

Better safe than sorry. Enjoy your trip! ;)
