Taxis from Porte Maillot

Hi again

If you read my other topic you%26#39;ll see that we%26#39;re arriving in Paris on Saturday evening...i would%26#39;ve put this question in that one but i forgot!

Anyway...we get to Porte Maillot at probably 1830ish so i figure its prob best we just grab a cab instead of trying to figure out the metro!

Just dont want to get ripped off so was wondering what it should cost tops to get to the area where the Eiffel Seine hotel is located.

Oh and before someone shouts at me %26#39;well if you use the search facility...%26#39; i already did and i cant see anything that is linked to where we%26#39;re going but if i missed something then i apologise and please show me the way!

I%26#39;m going to Paris in March, and did a little research on how to get from Porte Maillot to my hotel Was due to go by taxi or the metro. to be the first time and bring bags, I choose to go by taxi.

Of your hotel to Porte Maillot is about 4.5 kilometers by car (12 minutes) (info : google maps )

You can see in this site: http://www.taxi-paris.net/page38.html how much will cost you use the taxi but keep in mind that it is a time to tip in Paris is therefore capable of being stopped in queues of traffic, I hope I have helped (:

Given the approximate time of day and vageries of surface traffic....taxi fare from the PORTE MAILLOT/Palais des Congrés area to Hôtel Eiffel Seine should run 11€-13€--PLUS---any official surcharges (1€ per bag after the 1st...2,70€ ea.4th %26amp; 5th passenger). These official surcharges are added to the metered fare amount. These surcharges are a part of the official taxi fare structure and are NOT %26#39;tourist rip-offs%26#39;. No tip for the driver is included in either fare or surcharges.
